Are you struggling to find direction, purpose, or a sense of value in your life? Hidden beneath issues like mental health struggles, addiction, and loneliness, many young people in Ireland and across the West are facing a deep meaning crisis. But there is hope.
Join philosophy PhD and lecturer Mahon McCann for a transformative six-week course designed to help you move beyond the meaning crisis and discover answers to life’s most important questions. The course is offered in person in Rathfarnham Parish Centre on Tuesday evenings (the dates are below). Together, we’ll explore:
- The roots of the meaning crisis in our culture and how it affects us today
- How the scientific revolution changed the way we see reality and ourselves
- The power of mythology, ritual, and symbolism, and how they can be understood in a modern world
- The latest cognitive science and psychology of meaning in life
- How the Christian story offers a framework for morality, community, and a meaningful life
This course is for anyone searching for purpose, belonging, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world. Through engaging discussions and practical insights, you’ll learn how the Christian faith can offer real solutions to the challenges of modern life and help you build a life filled with meaning.
