Montpellier Hill Son Rise celebration
Over 40 people gathered on Montpellier Hill (Hell fire Club) on a cloudy morning before Sunrise, as part of our ecumenical Son-rise celebration of the Easter story of the resurrection of Jesus and the good news that death is not the end.
While watching the lights of the city below, the folk group from Rathfarnham led the group in song , while Rev Adrienne from Church of Ireland , Deacon Frank Ballyroan parish and Fr Martin from the Catholic Church in Rathfarnham led the prayers. We then had breakfast in Ballyroan Parish Centre together as fellow Christians.
